Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account: your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Your follows and saved shows: the bands, venues, and events you choose to track.
- Optional location: a home address or coordinates and a search radius, only if you enter them in Settings, used to find shows near you.
- Notification settings: your email and web push preferences, and the browser push subscription if you turn push on.
- Basic analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites.
How we use it
To show you upcoming shows for the bands and venues you follow, to send the notifications you asked for, and to keep the service running securely. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not send marketing email.
You can turn email off in Settings at any time. Transactional email is delivered by Resend. Address lookups for "shows near you" are performed server-side through OpenStreetMap Nominatim; your address is not stored in our cache.
Cookies
We use two first-party cookies to keep you signed in (a 2-hour session and a 30-day refresh token). Both are HttpOnly and Secure. There are no advertising cookies.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email hello@mybandtracker.org from your account address and we'll remove it within 7 days.
Show data accuracy
Show listings are collected from public sources (venue calendars, Bandsintown, Cleveland Scene) and can be wrong or out of date. Always confirm with the venue before you go.
